Test Your Speed
This test uses a Java applet to test your i-zoom high speed connection. You can download the Java plug-in from here: http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_xpi.jspThis broadband Java based test, measures the upload and download speed of your connection and compares the results to typical speeds measured by a number of alternate Internet Service Providers across the country.
Please keep in mind that your download speed can be affected by any of the following factors:
New and faster computers process downloads more quickly than older machines. Example: a Pentium IV 3 GHz may download faster than a Pentium 233 MHz.
Your results will be affected if you have other programs running during the test. An example of this would be Microsoft Word, any graphics programs, etc.
If you are connecting through a local area network (LAN) in your home, it could impede the flow of data to your computer, thus resulting in slower download speeds.
If you have a firewall installed, please temporarily disable it. Some firewalls may slightly affect download speeds.
While performing this test, make sure that you are not doing any other downloading or uploading as this will affect your speed test results.
